Nothing ever happened between the two sides

Nothing ever touched the fragile glass connecting the two.

Nothing ever came between them.

But all it took to break the fragile glass was the sound of wind.

The fragile glass silently broke into pieces

Now it’s as if the existence between the two sides never existed, gone without a trace of glass.
